So, on one of my last attempts to avoid studying tonight I finally decided to check my e-mail, and oh boy, I was fucking elated when I read that the headliner for the Honda Civic Tour had been announced. I slowly and of course dramatically opened the e-mail only to see that Panic! at the Disco was chosen!
It sounds really dorky but I totally went into into a time warp to about two years ago when I bought From Under the Cork Tree and A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. I swear I made love to both of those cd's. Those were the only things going into my cd player in my 'escort (I know, sexy right) on the way to school. Blaring it with my horrible bass system at 6:50am.
Anywho, i am totally going to get tickets on the first day and will be having my little countdown like I did for the last HCT (2007). Last year the line up was amazing. Cobra Starship, The Academy Is.., and of course Fall Out Boy are my three favorite bands and it was amazing to have them all on one venue.
So I'm thinking that Boys Like Girls, David Bowie and Michael Jackson should totally open. It would be bitchin'. Just a suggestion (oh and Bowie must definitely dress like he did in the Labyrinth. Those spandex pants opened my 4 years old eyes to a whole new world)
